In Mystery Science Theater 3000 season 11 episode 6, Joel Hodgson and his robot companions, Tom Servo and Crow T. Robot, take on the sci-fi adventure film Starcrash. Originally released in 1978, Starcrash follows the adventure of two smugglers, Stella Star and Akton, as they attempt to find the evil Count Zarth Arn's secret weapon, which threatens to destroy the galaxy.
As always, the crew of the Satellite of Love adds their own humorous commentary and skits to the film, poking fun at the cheesy special effects, awkward dialogue, and over-the-top acting. But they also uncover some of the hidden gems in the film, such as a young David Hasselhoff in one of his earliest roles, and some impressive stop-motion animation.
With their signature wit and sarcasm, Hodgson, Servo, and Crow make even the most boring scenes entertaining and keep viewers on their toes with their pop culture references and jokes. Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will not be disappointed with this hilarious and action-packed episode.
