MythBusters, 10th Anniversary Collection Season 1 Episode 5 Wheel of Mythfortune

Next, they tackle the myth that a person can outrun a collapsing bridge. In order to test this, they build a bridge out of lightweight materials which they set to collapse. They then enlist the help of several athletes to attempt to outrun the collapse, both at an easy jog and a full sprint. The results of this myth are both shocking and incredibly impressive.

The third myth involves a tale of car thieves attempting to avoid detection by coating their vehicles in teflon or wax. While the idea behind this is that it will prevent the car from being tracked via dust or fingerprints, Adam and Jamie set out to determine if it really works. They coat a car in both substances and take it through a dirt road, then send in a team armed with tracking devices to see if they can still locate the car.

Finally, they take on the myth of the flying guillotine, a weapon used in ancient China which was said to be capable of decapitating a victim from a distance. Adam and Jamie construct a guillotine themselves and test whether or not it can actually fly, and if it could be accurately aimed and used as a deadly weapon.
