Northwest Passage is an engaging and adventurous television series filmed during the late 1950s. It is about the experienced Indian fighter and explorer Major Robert Rogers, who during the French and Indian War of the mid 1700s is looking for and seeking out a supposed waterway through the United States of America. Major Robert Rogers put together an all volunteer group called Rogers Rangers, which includes brave men such as Hunk Mariner, also an explorer and Indian fighter, and college graduate and map maker Langdon Towne. They battle on, fighting the French Army as well as the Indians, with a fierce determination to locate the elusive waterway known as the Northwest Passage. With each series episode, they go on one adventure after the other, seeking and fighting their way through good times and bad.
