In season 19, episode 15 of "On The Case With Paula Zahn," titled "No Body Two Crimes," Paula Zahn dives into two separate cases where crimes were committed without a body being found. The first case involves the disappearance of a mother of two, Susan Osborne, in 2017. Osborne was last seen at a Shell gas station in rural Kentucky, where she was known to frequently stop for a smoke break on her way to her job at a nearby hospital. When she didn't show up for work and couldn't be reached by her family and friends, they knew something was wrong. However, investigators were unable to find any evidence of a struggle or foul play at the scene of her disappearance.

With no body and little evidence, it seemed as though the case might never be solved. But in 2019, a break in the case came when an inmate who was serving time for an unrelated crime came forward with information about Osborne's disappearance. He claimed that he had seen her body in a wooded area near her home. Investigators combed the area but still were unable to locate her remains. Zahn speaks with Osborne's son and the team of investigators who are determined to bring justice for Susan Osborne and her family.

The second case Zahn explores in this episode is the murder of Jesslyn L. Brown. Brown was a 38-year-old mother of two who was last seen in her home in Indiana in September 2019. Her mother, who lived with her at the time, reported her missing when she didn't come home from work one day. Investigators began a search for Brown but were unable to find any evidence of foul play or her whereabouts.

However, in January 2020, a man named Dustin Lindgren was arrested on unrelated charges and came forward with information about Brown's disappearance and murder. He claimed that Brown's former boyfriend, Robert E. Lee III, had killed her and disposed of her body. Lindgren led investigators to a rural area where he said Lee had buried Brown's remains. Again, investigators were unable to find any physical evidence of the crime. But with Lindgren's confession and other circumstantial evidence, Lee was brought to trial and eventually convicted of Brown's murder.

Through interviews with Brown's family and friends, as well as the investigators who worked on the case, Zahn sheds light on the devastating impact of murder on those left behind and the tireless work done by law enforcement to bring justice to victims and their loved ones.

As always, "On The Case With Paula Zahn" presents these stories with sensitivity and respect for the victims and their families, while also highlighting the hard work and dedication of the law enforcement professionals who work tirelessly to bring justice to those who have been wronged. "No Body Two Crimes" is a compelling episode that will leave viewers with a greater appreciation for the challenges faced by those who investigate such difficult cases.
