Ep 22. Telethon

Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana, is organizing a telethon to raise money for the park and recreation department. The goal is to raise $50,000 in one night. To help with this, Leslie enlists the help of all her colleagues at the department.

It's not going to be easy, though. Nearly everyone on the staff is dealing with their own personal drama. Tom Haverford, the department's administrator, is trying to impress a woman he's interested in by pretending to be something he's not. Meanwhile, April Ludgate, the sardonic intern, is dealing with her growing feelings for Andy Dwyer, the department's hapless maintenance man.

The telethon gets off to a rocky start when the celebrity headliner, subpar vampire movie star Brandi Maxxxx, fails to show up on time. But even with this setback, Leslie and her team push forward, determined to reach their goal.

As the night wears on, the department begins to make progress towards their goal. Leslie and her ex-boyfriend, city councilman Paul Rudd, team up to make a pitch for a large donation. Meanwhile, Tom's attempts to impress his crush go catastrophically awry.

Despite all the chaos, the telethon is a success. The department manages to raise the $50,000 they were hoping for, and everyone is thrilled. The night ends on a high note, with the happy staff sharing well-deserved pizza and beer.

However, things take a turn for the worse when Leslie discovers that a large portion of the telethon's proceeds are missing. Fueled by her sense of justice, Leslie launches an investigation to find out who stole the money.

What she discovers in the course of her investigation is unexpected and deeply concerning. With the help of her colleagues, Leslie races to uncover the truth behind the theft and bring the culprits to justice.
