However, when Perry returns to the present and Doofenshmirtz realizes what happened, he sets out to find Perry and take his revenge.
In the end, Phineas and Ferb are returned to the present, but not before they leave a lasting impact on their ancestors. The statue they built in the Stone Age inspires their tribe to come together in times of need, and Perry successfully prevents Doofenshmirtz from conquering the world.
