Please Like Me Season 2 Episode 9 Skinny Latte

After returning from their road trip with Patrick, Josh and Tom resume their normal routines and head back to work. Meanwhile, Arnold struggles to find a job and battles with his own insecurities about his future.

As Arnold becomes increasingly stressed, Josh suggests they go for a walk and grab a coffee. While at the café, Arnold orders a skinny latte and begins to obsess over its calorie count. Josh tries to reassure him, but Arnold's anxiety only continues to build.

Back at the house, Josh and Arnold spend the afternoon cooking and baking together. They make a pie, but Arnold can't bring himself to eat a slice out of fear it will ruin his diet. As the day goes on, Arnold's anxiety reaches a boiling point and he has a panic attack.

Josh rushes Arnold to the hospital where they are seen by a doctor. The doctor recommends Arnold see a therapist, but Arnold is resistant to the idea. Josh tries to convince him to give therapy a chance, but Arnold is stubborn and insists he can handle his problems on his own.

Meanwhile, Tom struggles with his own issues at work. His boss, Denise, shows little appreciation for his hard work and belittles him in front of his colleagues. Fed up with her treatment, Tom decides to quit his job.

As the episode comes to a close, Josh reflects on the importance of seeking help and support when facing mental health struggles. He continues to encourage Arnold to see a therapist, and Arnold finally agrees. The episode ends with Josh and Arnold snuggling in bed together, both feeling a sense of relief and connection.
