An innovative approach to the sitcom genre, with hints of silent comedy revival, the British "Pompidou" series depicts the funny adventures of a simple minded nobleman of odd manners. Hove (the butler) and Marion (the dog) complete an engaging and funny trio of characters. Part of the appeal of the situation is that often times the dog proves to be the most sensible one of the three.
