Top Gear is one of the numerous television shows that one can watch. This is a British show that is about motor vehicles such as cars. It is among the most watched programs and is one that discusses facts to enlighten people. The show began in 1977 but had a long hiatus until returning in 2002. The newer version of the show is a more humorous and controversial show. The hosts of the show include Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. It also has a test driver known as The Stig With approximately 350 million viewers in 170 countries worldwide, it has a very large and wide audience.
The show has a number of segments that make it quite intriguing to watch. One of the segments is races. In this segment viewers will get to watch certain cars race each other to see who wins. This segment will show a variety of different cars and therefore give the viewer a glimpse of what car is faster and more durable. This is usually the first segment of the show.
Another segment in this show is challenges. This is a segment where people will perform certain stunts with a vehicle. When viewing the challenges segment viewers will be exposed to one of the more entertaining aspects of the show. In these segments a driver will try to jump over trucks and buses with a vehicle. The jumps will usually be performed with a car. For viewers the challenges segments are usually the second segment that are shown.
Power Laps is one of the other segments in the show. In this particular segment someone will drive a car over a course. They will look to complete this lap as quickly as possible. In this segment, the viewer will get to see a variety of vehicles and determine how fast and efficient it is. This is also one of the more entertaining and exciting parts of the show.
There are other segments as well which include interviewing celebrities who try out the various cars. This segment helps provide more insight to viewers and makes things interesting as they will get to view the opinions of these celebrities and what they think of the various vehicles they are driving.

Chris Evans discovers old-fashioned charm in the somehow new MGB Roadster, as Rory Reid heads to Scotland with the first ever right-hand-drive Ford Mustang. Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey and Man Down funny man Greg Davies are tonight's Stars in a Rallycross Car, plus a treat for the whole team, including Sabine Schmitz and Eddie Jordan.
This week, Chris Harris is with the new BMW M2, Rory Reid is delivering the Jaguar F-type SVR to the Geneva Motor Show, and Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc head to Dingle to see whether the new Rolls Royce Dawn can out-class its ancestor, a 1976 Cornishe. The Stars going head to head in the Rallycross Car are Absolutely Fabulous star Jennifer Saunders and Great British Bake Off's Paul Hollywood.
Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and Sabine Schmitz buy cheap second-hand cars and head for Venice. The aim? To prove road travel can be more luxurious than taking the train.
