Ep 18. A Kiss Before Lying

In season 2 episode 18 of Pretty Little Liars, titled "A Kiss Before Lying," the drama continues as the four main characters, Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer, continue to navigate the treacherous landscape of their small town.

Her mother is understandably upset that her husband has been gone for so long, and Hanna desperately wants to help. She ends up turning to Caleb, her ex-boyfriend and former hacker, for help. He manages to track down Hanna's dad and gets him to come home.

As the girls are dealing with their own personal problems, they're also still trying to uncover the identity of "A." They know that Toby is somehow involved, but they don't know to what extent. Spencer decides to confront Toby and demands to know the truth. He tells her that he's been working with "A" in order to protect her from being hurt. He promises that he has nothing to do with Alison's death and that he still loves Spencer.

The episode comes to a dramatic conclusion when Emily is tricked into meeting "A" in the woods. She's led to believe that she's meeting up with Maya, her girlfriend who's been missing for several episodes. When Emily arrives, she's attacked by a hooded figure and barely manages to escape. She's left shaken and afraid, and the girls realize that they're more in danger than ever before.

Overall, "A Kiss Before Lying" is a tense and intriguing episode that sets up plenty of plotlines for future episodes.
