Ep 1. Cluny the Scourge: Part 1

Redwall is a fantasy-adventure animated television series based on the Redwall book series. The series follows the animals of Redwall Abbey and their battles against evil forces. In season 1 episode 1, titled "Cluny the Scourge: Part 1," the peaceful creatures of Redwall are threatened by an evil rat named Cluny, who wants to take over the Abbey and destroy its inhabitants.

Sela is lured by the promise of riches and power and agrees to help the rats enter the Abbey.

As the rats prepare to attack Redwall, Matthias embarks on a mission to find the legendary sword of Martin the Warrior. Martin was a great warrior who fought for the safety of Redwall Abbey many years ago, and his sword is said to have magical powers that can protect the Abbey from any danger. Matthias sets out on his quest with the help of Basil Stag Hare, who acts as his guide.

Matthias soon comes across a group of traveling animals who have also heard of Martin's sword. They are a group of friends who are on their way to a nearby village to help a mouse named Cornflower. Cornflower's father has been taken captive by one of Cluny's henchmen, and the group of friends is determined to rescue him. Matthias joins forces with the group, and they continue on their journey.

Meanwhile, back at Redwall Abbey, Sela betrays her fellow dormice and allows the rats to enter the Abbey. Cluny and his army quickly take over, and the animals of Redwall are forced to flee to safety. Matthias and his group arrive just in time to see the Abbey under siege and the Redwall tapestry in the hands of Cluny.

The first episode of Redwall sets the stage for an epic battle between good and evil. The peaceful creatures of Redwall must band together to fight against the evil forces of Cluny and his army of rats. Matthias' quest for the sword of Martin the Warrior adds a layer of mythology and magic to the story. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats and eager to see what happens next.
