Mordecai and Rigby make a resolution to finally kiss someone at the park's New Year's Eve party. They both have their eyes set on different girls, but as the night progresses, they face various obstacles in their attempts to seal the deal. Meanwhile, Benson tries to avoid his annual New Year's Eve party with his boss, but ends up being guilted into attending. The party takes a turn for the worse when his boss announces that he is shutting down the park.
