Team Green, composed of Joe and Jerica, have a weak link, and it's taking the toll on both of them. They are determined, however, to finish strong and not be eliminated. The duo must uncover the mystery of their respective family trees and find the relatives that they have never met before.

Team Blue, made up of Dustin and DeShae, have been struggling with the challenge, and this has resulted in them lagging behind. They are in Denver and must work harder to catch up with the other teams and avoid elimination.

Throughout the episode, teams face their personal challenges, including the pressure to win the race and the emotional process of discovering their family history. There are moments of triumph, setbacks, and tears as they navigate their way through the challenges of the race.
