Ep 7. Raising Gazorpazorp

Rick and Morty season 1 episode 7, titled "Raising Gazorpazorp", follows Rick and Morty as they travel to an alien planet to collect a rare crystal. While there, Morty purchases a sex robot for himself, but soon discovers that the robot is actually a sentient being from an all-male alien species called the Gazorpazorpians. Meanwhile, the robot begins to exhibit signs of pregnancy, and Morty is shocked to discover that the robot is actually a male Gazorpazorpians, a race of beings who reproduce asexually but have evolved to have masculine characteristics.

After the robot gives birth to a half-human, half-Gazorpazorpian child, Morty decides to take responsibility for it and becomes a father overnight. However, he soon discovers that his child, who he names Morty Jr., has incredible powers and a destructive personality. Morty struggles to control Morty Jr.'s behavior and attempts to teach him how to be a well-adjusted member of society.

Meanwhile, Rick is dealing with his own crisis as the crystal he collected has turned him into a giant, sentient pickle. Rick's attempts to reverse the process are unsuccessful, and he is left stranded as a pickle when the spaceship is attacked by Gazorpazorpian soldiers. Morty and Morty Jr. come to the rescue, with Morty using his parental instincts to convince Morty Jr. to spare Rick's life.

In the end, Morty decides to leave Morty Jr. on Gazorpazorp with his own kind, realizing that he cannot provide the kind of upbringing that Morty Jr. needs. The episode ends with Rick returning to human form and the two returning to Earth, grateful to be alive and having learned valuable lessons about responsibility and the dangers of reckless behavior.

"Raising Gazorpazorp" is a darkly funny episode that explores themes of parenthood and the consequences of our actions. It also showcases the show's willingness to tackle taboo subjects in a bold and irreverent way, making it a standout episode in the first season of Rick and Morty.
