Watch Riffing With

Billboard and Rolling Stone journalist Steve Baltin interviews well-known influential figures in the music industry in a series of one-on-one conversations. He gets them to discuss their music, the things that inspire them and the changes they've seen in the music industry since they began their career. There is little editing of the episodes and it ends up feeling more like a conversation than a formal interview.

Musicians being interviewed include Brian Wilson, Annie Lennox, Perry Farrell and John Lydon. Each of the eight episodes is a different length and they are primarily shot in the musician's house or home studio. These off-the-cuff conversations reveal some previously unknown facts about the stars, as they discuss the things that inspire them. The interviews are aimed more at the casual music fan than the professional, although all of the interviews offer up advice that would resonate with anyone who enjoys this music.
