In the 48th episode of Roadkill Garage's fourth season titled "Prepping for Roadkill Nights: It's a Project Car Rampage!" the spotlight is on the iconic 1969 Dodge Charger named "General Mayhem". For those who are unfamiliar with the car, the General Mayhem was built by David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan on the show Roadkill. The duo transformed the 1968 Dodge Charger into a General Lee replica but then decided to go a step further and swap in a Hellcat engine.

In this episode, David Freiburger and Steve Dulcich work on General Mayhem to prepare it for the upcoming event - Roadkill Nights. Roadkill Nights is a yearly event organized by Dodge that takes place at the M1 Concourse racetrack in Michigan. The event features drag racing on Woodward Avenue, a wide array of classic and modern Mopar vehicles, a dyno, thrill rides, and music.

To get General Mayhem ready for the event, the duo brings in backup: Tony Angelo. Angelo is a professional drifter and automotive expert who Freiburger and Dulcich believe will be of great help in prepping the car for the event. The trio starts by checking on the car's brakes, which had previously failed at another event. After fixing the brakes, they check on the car's tires and change them to increase traction.

Since General Mayhem is an old car, it has a carbureted engine that can be challenging to start in extreme weather conditions. To fix this issue, the team adds an AEM Electronics engine management system to the car. The system will allow the trio to start the car even in extremely cold or hot weather conditions. With the new engine management system in place, the team also decides to add an electric fuel pump to prevent vapor lock issues that past high-temperature days have caused.

The next step for the team is to increase the exhaust system's flow. The current exhaust system had a muffler that was too restrictive. The muffler was scrapped, and the team added a Magnaflow muffler to increase the engine's power.

The final modification to the car is the installation of a four-point harness to prevent any safety issues during extreme driving conditions. Once all the modifications are completed, the trio takes the car out for a test drive. The car performs exceptionally well and is now ready for any challenge that the Roadkill Nights will throw its way.

Overall, "Prepping for Roadkill Nights: It's a Project Car Rampage!" showcases the team's expertise in modifying cars to improve their performance. The episode is a must-watch for any car enthusiast looking to mod their car for various events or driving conditions. The episode also highlights the team's dedication to modifying General Mayhem to its full potential, ensuring that the car is ready to take on any challenge thrown its way.
