Ep 77. Road Trip & Bust: 2 New Projects!

Roadkill Garage is back with another exciting episode titled "Road Trip & Bust: 2 New Projects!" The show follows the journey of hot rod enthusiasts Steve Dulcich and David Freiburger, as they embark on a new adventure to revive old cars and turn them into high-performance machines.

In this episode, Steve and David hit the road in search of two new projects. They start by heading to the desert to check out a '58 Bel Air that they hope to turn into a drag racing machine. However, upon closer inspection, they realize that the car might not be salvageable. Undeterred, they set out to find another suitable candidate for their project, scouring the local scrapyards and junkyards in the area.

After several unsuccessful attempts, they come across a '62 Ford Fairlane that catches their eye. It may not be the Bel Air they were hoping for, but it has plenty of potential, and they decide to take it back to the garage to get to work.

Once back in the garage, Steve and David break down the Fairlane to assess what needs to be done. They quickly realize that the car is in much worse shape than they initially thought, with rust and corrosion covering most of the body. But instead of giving up, they roll up their sleeves and get to work, determined to turn the Fairlane into a powerful machine.

Meanwhile, they also begin work on their second project, an '86 Chevy C10 pickup truck that they hope to turn into a street racing beast. They start by installing a new engine and transmission, along with a fresh coat of paint and new wheels and tires. However, as they delve deeper into the project, they realize that the frame is bent, and they will need to do some serious metalwork to get it back into shape.

Undeterred, Steve and David press on, determined to bring both of their projects to completion. Along the way, they encounter a host of challenges and setbacks, including broken parts and unexpected complications. But through it all, they remain undaunted, drawing on their years of experience and expertise to overcome each obstacle and get their cars back on the road.

As the episode draws to a close, Steve and David take both of their cars out for a test drive, eager to see how they perform. Despite some minor issues, both cars run smoothly, and the guys are thrilled with the results.
