Ep 1. It Takes Two

Rupaul's All Stars Drag Race is a television series where previous competitors of Rupaul's Drag Race return for a second chance to win the title and the grand prize. Season 1 featured twelve returning queens aiming to snatch the crown.

In the first episode, titled "It Takes Two," the queens enter the werkroom to find out that they will be competing in pairs for this challenge. This twist surprised the competitors, as they were all expecting to compete individually. As soon as the pairs were announced, tensions started to arise as some of them were not happy with their partner.

The pairs for the first challenge were as follows:

- Nina Flowers and Tammie Brown - Shannel and Chad Michaels - Tatianna and Raven - Jujubee and Pandora Boxx - Yara Sofia and Alexis Mateo - Manila Luzon and Mimi Imfurst

The first mini-challenge was a photoshoot, where the queens had to pose as a two-headed creature with their partner. The photoshoot was hilarious, and some queens had a hard time getting along with their partners.

After the mini-challenge, Rupaul announced the main challenge, which was to create a makeover look on their partner, turning them into their drag sister. The catch was that the queens had to use identical outfits and fabric to create two different looks. This challenged the queens' creativity and ingenuity, as they had to demonstrate their skills in tailoring and sewing to make the outfits fit perfectly.

The pairs worked together to create their drag sisters' looks. Some pairs had a great chemistry, like Shannel and Chad Michaels, who had worked together before and seemed to have an excellent understanding of each other's style. Others had communication issues, like Manila Luzon and Mimi Imfurst, who had a feud during their season and struggled to cooperate during the challenge.

As the pairs were getting ready for the mainstage, Rupaul visited them in the werkroom to give them some advice and encouragement. He reminded them that the competition was tough, but they had to stay focused and give their best to win.

On the mainstage, the pairs presented their drag sisters' looks, and the judges reviewed them. The queens walked the runway, showing off their fabulous looks and runway presentation. The judges praised some of the pairs, like Shannel and Chad Michaels, who had great outfits and a fantastic dynamic on stage. They criticized others for their lack of cohesion or poor execution, like Yara Sofia and Alexis Mateo, who struggled with their outfits and runway performance.

After the judges' critiques, Rupaul announced the winners of the challenge. The best pair was granted immunity for the next episode, and the winning drag sister received a $1,000 cash prize. The bottom pair had to lip-sync for their life to avoid elimination.

The queens returned to the werkroom, where they awaited the judges' decision. Some of them were confident in their performance, while others felt nervous and anxious. Rupaul entered the room to deliver the shocking news that both members of the bottom pair would be eliminated from the competition. This caused an uproar in the werkroom, as the queens realized that the competition was going to be even tougher than they thought.

Overall, "It Takes Two" was an excellent start to Rupaul's All Stars Drag Race season 1. The twist of the pairs challenged the queens to work with new partners and show off their skills. The main challenge was exciting, and the runway looks were fabulous. The elimination twist added drama and tension to the show, leaving the audience eager to see what would happen next.
