Ten seasons in, RuPaul's Drag Race still delivers dynamite challenges and fierce competition. Episode 3 of season 10, entitled Tap That App, finds the queens put to the test as app developers. The episode begins with a mini-challenge where the queens have to improvise a soap opera scene while wearing slit-eye glasses. It's a fun way to get them out of their own heads and remind them what Drag Race is all about: just having a good time.

The main challenge is where things get serious. The queens have to come up with their own drag-themed app and pitch it to the judges. As they brainstorm in the Werk Room, some of them show more creativity than others. Aquaria, one of the youngest contestants, decides to design an app that shows her fans what her personal style is and where she gets her inspiration from. Asia O'Hara, on the other hand, opts for a game where you have to punch Drag Race judges.

As the queens work on their apps, we get to see some behind-the-scenes drama. Monique Heart struggles with the technical side of things, while Miz Cracker worries about her concept being too niche. The pressure is on as they enter the workroom to present their pitches. Host RuPaul and judges Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, and Carson Kressley listen attentively as the queens present their ideas.

One of the standout moments of the episode comes from Eureka O'Hara, who proposes an app called "Eureka's Emergency Medical Services." It's a tongue-in-cheek reference to her previous season 9 injury, but it's also a clever way to highlight the importance of healthcare access for marginalized communities. The judges are impressed with the concept and Eureka's passion for it.

Overall, the app challenge offers a fresh twist on the usual fashion and performance-based tasks. It's fascinating to see the queens exercise their creative muscles in a different way and to see what kind of ideas they come up with. Some of the apps are silly, some are practical, and some are just plain weird. But that's what makes Drag Race so entertaining.

The runway theme for this episode is feathers. The queens hit the catwalk in an array of feathered ensembles that range from classic glamour to avant-garde. The judges have some fun critiquing the looks, with Ross Mathews calling Aquaria's outfit a "dead flamingo" and Michelle Visage praising Monét X Change for bringing the drama. The feather runway adds an extra layer of fun and fantasy to an already lively episode.

The episode concludes with the runway winner, the bottom two queens, and the lipsync performance. As always, it's a tense moment as the queens wait to see who will lip sync for their life. The lipsync song is "Groove Is In The Heart" by Deee-Lite, a classic dance anthem that gets both queens fired up. It's a close battle, but ultimately one queen emerges victorious while the other sashays away.

Tap That App is a standout episode of Drag Race's tenth season. It offers a unique challenge that showcases the queens' creativity and wit, while also providing some outrageous runway looks and a fierce lip sync. It's a reminder that Drag Race is still at the top of its game and that there are plenty more surprises in store for fans of the show.
