In RuPaul's Drag Race season 3 episode 4, titled Totally Leotarded, the queens are tasked with creating their own workout videos. They must come up with a concept, write a script, and perform their own workout routines in front of a live audience.
But before the main challenge, the queens participate in a mini-challenge of playing a game called "What's the T?” where they have to guess which queen made a particular statement about their fellow contestants. The winner of this mini-challenge gets an advantage in the main challenge.
During the main challenge, some queens struggle with coming up with their workout video concept while others have trouble performing the actual routines. There are some hilarious and quirky concepts such as Yara Sofia's mermaid-themed workout, Delta Work's "Fatty Patty" routine, and Manila Luzon's 80s aerobics video. However, some queens fail to impress with their lackluster performances, making it clear that they may not be quite as versatile as they thought.
After the workout videos, the queens walk the runway in their best leopard print leotards for the judges' panel. Guest judges this week include Best in Show's Jennifer Coolidge and designer extraordinaire Mathu Andersen.
The runway looks are a mixed bag, with some queens delivering amazing head-to-toe leopard print looks while others fall a bit short. The judges' critiques are harsh but constructive, and the bottom two queens are chosen to lip-sync for their lives.
Overall, episode 4 is a fun and energetic one, showcasing the queens' creativity and versatility in a completely different light. With hilarious workout videos and fierce runway looks, it's a memorable episode in the series.
