Salvage Hunters is a British television program that revolves around antiques picker Drew Pritchard and his team as they travel across the UK and Europe searching for valuable antique items that they can buy and sell for a profit at their showroom in Conwy, North Wales. It's a reality show that offers insights into the world of antiques dealing, revealing the challenges, rewards, and interesting finds along the way.

In the second episode of the show's first season, we see Drew and his salvage expert mate Tee caught in the middle of a bidding war at an auction house in Shropshire. They are after a unique, 19th-century lectern with intricate carvings and ironwork details, but they quickly realize they aren't the only ones interested in it.

Despite facing stiff competition from other bidders, Drew and Tee manage to secure the lectern for £1,300, and it's time for them to move on to their next destination. They head to a large country estate in Cheshire, where they have arranged to meet a client who is looking to sell some items from his 18th-century rococo-style drawing room.

The room is filled with unique and ornate treasures, including a matching set of antique silver candelabras, a pair of Chinese porcelain bowls from the 1700s, and a set of delicate Meissen porcelain figurines. However, the centerpiece of the room is a magnificent, hand-crafted chandelier with a total of 56 arms, made in the 1780s.

Drew and Tee take their time inspecting each piece, trying to negotiate a good deal with the client. However, the client is reluctant to sell anything, and Drew has to use his charm and expertise to persuade him otherwise. Eventually, Drew manages to strike a deal for several items, including the chandelier, for a total price of £18,500.

The following day, Drew and Tee visit an old textile mill in Derbyshire, which has been converted into a showroom for architects and builders. The place is filled with an incredible array of antique and modern lighting fixtures, from chandeliers to sci-fi-style lamps. They are there to meet the owner, who has a collection of French wall sconces for sale.

The sconces are intricate and delicate, with a beautiful Rococo pattern and gilded bronze finish. Drew and Tee examine each sconce carefully, looking for any damage or unusual features that could affect their value. After some heated negotiations, they are able to purchase all the sconces for £3,500.

The final stop on their trip is a grand Edwardian mansion in the heart of Birmingham. The mansion's owner is looking to downsize, and Drew has arranged to meet him to see if there are any antique items he's willing to sell. Drew and Tee are given access to the mansion's many rooms, filled with an incredible collection of valuable antiques, from 18th-century oil paintings to vintage musical instruments.

One particular item catches Drew's eye: a large, solid oak dresser with intricate carvings and brass handles. The dresser is a magnificent example of 19th-century craftsmanship, and Drew is keen to get his hands on it. However, the owner isn't willing to part with it easily, and Drew has to use all his skill and charm to persuade him.

After some tense negotiation, Drew is able to secure the dresser for £2,500. The show ends with the team packing up their van and heading back to their showroom in North Wales, where they'll clean, restore, and prepare their newly acquired antiques for sale to their discerning customers.
