In Salvage Hunters season 9 episode 10, Drew Pritchard and his team travel to Preston Court, a Victorian mansion located in the heart of Kent. The property is a vintage-lover's dream, featuring an array of antiques and artifacts from various eras.

As soon as Drew arrives, he meets with the owners of the estate who show him around the property. He takes note of the many unique historic features and items throughout the mansion, including an old gun display, a wooden hunting trove, and a carved wooden eagle that once adorned an English pub.

Drew wastes no time getting straight into the heart of the mansion, exploring the basement and ground floors where he finds an abundance of interesting furniture pieces from a unique set of chairs with intricate carvings to a beautiful French chaise lounge. He also encounters a few unexpected finds during his search, including a cast iron garden urn and a leather boxing bag.

As Drew and his team work meticulously through each room, they discover many hidden gems, including a stunning set of Edwardian doors that can be reused to create a unique wall feature and a collection of wooden carvings which can be repurposed into quirky statement pieces. They also find a beautiful set of pottery plates, which Drew believes to be from the 1800s.

Later on, Drew heads to a nearby workshop to meet with skilled craftsman Will Kirk, who is tasked with transforming old and tired antiques into new and beautiful pieces. Will takes on some of the more challenging items, such as a pair of battered wooden antlers, and turns them into stunning pieces of art. He also works on a wooden beam, which he turns into a unique chandelier for the mansion.

As the episode progresses, Drew faces a few difficulties in his quest to find the perfect salvage items. One setback occurs when he discovers that a particular wooden bar he had his eye on is far too heavy to transport back to the workshop. However, Drew's ever-creative mind comes into play, and he ingeniously repurposes some old wooden wheelbarrow wheels to create an industrial-looking coffee table.

Overall, Salvage Hunters season 9 episode 10 is a fascinating insight into the world of antique salvage and restoration. With Drew's keen eye and expertise, he is able to uncover many hidden treasures and repurpose them into new and exciting pieces, helping to preserve a piece of history and giving old items a new lease of life.
