Ep 9. Thanksgiving

In Scream Queens season 1 episode 9, titled Thanksgiving, we get a glimpse into the Kappa Kappa Tau house's Thanksgiving festivities. The episode opens with Chanel (Emma Roberts) trying to create the perfect Thanksgiving, complete with a fancy turkey and extravagant place settings. Meanwhile, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) encourages the Kappas to invite their families to the Thanksgiving dinner as a way to boost the school's reputation.

As the night progresses, tensions begin to rise as each Kappa member's family arrives. Zayday's (Keke Palmer) family members are revealed to be vegan, while Hester's (Lea Michele) parents are in jail. Grace's (Skyler Samuels) father Wes (Oliver Hudson) makes an appearance, and tensions immediately rise between him and Dean Munsch. Meanwhile, Chanel's boyfriend Chad (Glen Powell) brings his family, including his highly intimidating father.

As the evening progresses, the situation takes a dark turn when a killer dressed as a pilgrim and wielding a meat cleaver begins to terrorize the Kappas. The Kappas, along with Wes and Chad, hatch a plan to catch the killer, but their plan goes awry when more than one person reveals they have a costume like the killer's.

Throughout the episode, we also see flashbacks to 1995, when a young Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) and a young Boone (Nick Jonas) plot to kill fellow pledges as part of their attempt to join Kappa Kappa Tau. These flashbacks begin to shed light on the current killer's identity and motivations.

The Thanksgiving episode of Scream Queens is full of drama, humor, and of course, scares. It continues to build upon the show's twisted plot and complex characters, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats and eagerly anticipating the next episode.
