Secrets of the Zoo: Down Under Season 3 Episode 12 The Tweetest Thing

In this episode of Secrets of the Zoo: Down Under season 3, titled "The Tweetest Thing," the staff at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia are busy caring for a number of different animals.
First, we are introduced to three adorable meerkat pups who are learning to navigate their surroundings under the watchful eye of their mother. As the staff conduct a health check on the pups, they discover that one of them has some health concerns that need to be addressed.
Meanwhile, the zoo's bird team are preparing for an important event - the arrival of a group of threatened Regent Honeyeaters. With only around 300 of these birds left in the wild, the team is eager to do everything they can to ensure their survival. The birds are transported to the zoo's aviary where they will be introduced to their new environment and acclimatized before they are released back into the wild.
Another highlight of the episode is the arrival of two new yellow-footed rock wallabies who have been brought to the zoo to be part of the breeding program. The staff must work carefully to introduce the new animals to the group and ensure all members are getting along.
As always, the show features plenty of heartwarming moments as we get a glimpse into the lives of the animals and the dedication of their caretakers. From feeding time for the zoo's giraffes to a visit from some school children, the episode is a true celebration of the wonderful work being done at the Taronga Zoo.
