Watch Shoresy

Shoresy is a spinoff of the comedy series Letterkenny that premiered on Hulu in 2022. The show follows fan favorite character Shoresy, a foul-mouthed hockey player known for his blistering trash talk on the ice. After being cut from the Letterkenny Irish senior men's hockey team, Shoresy hits the road in Northern Ontario to join a new team in hopes of taking down his former squad. As the only senior triple-A team in Sudbury, the Sudbury Bulldogs see promise in bringing Shoresy on board despite his reputation for taking hockey way too seriously.

As a new team member, Shoresy moves in with fellow players Sanguinet and Bergie. The trio quickly form a bond both on and off the ice as they party and chase women together. Known for his aggressive playing style, Shoresy starts racking up goals and assists while also dishing out plenty of insults to opponents.

When not at the rink, Shoresy and the boys spend their time at the gym and local bars pursuing romantic endeavors. Shoresy takes a particular liking to teammate Nat, though she proves to be a tougher catch than he anticipated. Shoresy’s bravado takes a hit as Nat continually rebuffs his advances.

Back on the ice, Shoresy’s determination to crush his old Letterkenny team fuels his performance. But he continues to butt heads with Bulldogs head coach JJ Frankie JJ, who thinks Shoresy should tone down his self-centered antics. As the season progresses, Shoresy tries to become more of a team player while still playing as ruthlessly as ever.

Shoresy leans heavily on his teammates Sanguinet, Bergie and Nat as he seeks redemption against Letterkenny. Sanguinet acts as Shoresy's conscience, while Bergie provides levity with his goofy free-spirited nature. And Nat challenges Shoresy to show his more mature side.

When not competing in games, practices and workouts, the team frequents their sponsor bar where they drink, play pub trivia and get to know the locals. Shoresy in particular enjoys trash talking the bar patrons and starting fights on the dance floor.

As the Bulldogs get closer to a championship matchup with Letterkenny, Shoresy doubles down on his aggressive playing, racking up an impressive amount of points. But he faces internal conflict about whether to continue his singular focus on hockey greatness, or become a more supportive mentor to his teammates.

Ultimately, Shoresy is a story of personal growth on the journey to achieve athletic glory. Shoresy will have to elevate his team above his own ego if he wants to take down his rivals. With plenty of raunchy locker room humor blended with hockey action and heart, Shoresy builds on a fan favorite character from Letterkenny for a rowdy and entertaining sports comedy.
