Ep 8. Deflect, Deflect, Deflect.

In Siesta Key season 2 episode 8, titled "Deflect, Deflect, Deflect," drama continues to heat up in this sun-soaked Florida community. As the episode opens, the group is dealing with the aftermath of last week's explosive fight between Chloe and Juliette.

Madisson tries to cheer up her friend Juliette by inviting her to a dinner party at her parents' house. Juliette admits that she's been feeling down lately, and thinks that her ex-boyfriend Alex is ignoring her. But things take a turn when Alex shows up at the party with his new girlfriend, Alyssa.

Throughout the night, tensions run high as the group tries to navigate the awkwardness. Chloe, who's still reeling from her fight with Juliette, seems particularly irritated with Alyssa's presence. Meanwhile, Alex and Juliette struggle to hide their lingering feelings for each other.

But the party isn't the only source of drama in this episode. Kelsey and Garrett's relationship hits a snag when Kelsey becomes uneasy about Garrett's close friendship with a female coworker. Kelsey is particularly upset because she feels like Garrett hasn't been honest about their relationship, and may be trying to keep his options open.

To make matters worse, Kelsey's ex-boyfriend Josh shows up unexpectedly at the bar where Kelsey and Garrett are hanging out. Josh seems intent on stirring up trouble, and ends up getting into a heated argument with Garrett.

Amid all the chaos, the group tries to take their minds off their problems by hitting the beach. But even here, tensions run high as they play "Never Have I Ever". The game leads to some uncomfortable revelations, particularly for Madisson, who is forced to confront her feelings for ex-boyfriend Brandon.

As the episode draws to a close, it's clear that things are far from settled in Siesta Key. Old grudges persist, new relationships are forming, and everyone seems to be hiding something. Will the group be able to put aside their differences, or will their drama tear them apart?
