Sky High: The Series is a superhero drama that debuted on Netflix in 2023. Set in a world where people with superpowers exist, the show follows a new generation of teenage superheroes who attend Sky High, a special school for kids with powers. The main protagonist is Will Stronghold, son of two famous superheroes known as The Commander and Jetstream. Will discovers he has the power of super strength and enrolls at Sky High along with his best friend Layla, who has the power to control plants. At Sky High, Will and Layla meet other teenagers with amazing abilities - Warren Peace who can control fire, Ethan who can melt into a puddle, Magenta who can shapeshift, and Zach who has super speed. Together, they form a group called the Sidekicks as they navigate the ups and downs of high school while also learning to harness their powers.

In the first season, Will faces off against bullies like Lash and Speed who look down on the Sidekicks. He also catches the attention of the top student and pyrokinetic Warren Peace. A brewing rivalry emerges as Will has a crush on Warren's girlfriend Gwen Grayson, aka Royal Pain, who is secretly plotting to turn Sky High into a school for villains. Will and his friends must stop Royal Pain's evil plans all while going through freshman year.

Subsequent seasons follow the Sidekicks as they continue to grow into their superpowers and face bigger threats. More characters join the cast, including Will's younger brother Joey who develops the ability to communicate with animals. Romances bloom and friendships are tested as the teenage superheroes balance their powers, emotions, and schoolwork.
