Alice Trappler appeared to have it all – beauty, brains, and a successful career as a pharmaceutical sales representative. However, her picture-perfect facade began to crack when she married her high school sweetheart, Mike Trappler. However, Alice was not finished with her reign of terror. She continued to harass her husband’s lover and ultimately devised a plan to have her killed. Hiring a hitman, Alice watched as her victim was brutally murdered, leaving her husband and others stunned.

The investigation into the murder revealed Alice's web of lies and deceit. She was arrested and ultimately convicted of first-degree murder. The episode ends with Alice's sentence being handed down.
