Somebody Feed Phil is a Netflix Original series that follows the adventures of Phil Rosenthal, the creator of the hit sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," as he travels the world in search of the best food and cultural experiences.

In season 3, episode 2, Phil visits the city of Chicago, which he describes as "the real America." He starts his trip off by indulging in some famous Chicago-style hot dogs at the iconic Portillo's restaurant. From there, he travels to the West Side to try some of the city's best tacos at the restaurant Taqueria Traspasada.

Next, Phil ventures to the South Side to sample some of the famous deep-dish pizza that Chicago is known for. He visits the restaurant Lou Malnati's and even gets a behind-the-scenes tour of their kitchen to see how the pizza is made. He also visits Pequod's Pizza, where he tries their unique take on deep-dish pizza that includes a caramelized cheese crust.

Phil's love for food extends beyond traditional restaurant experiences, and in this episode, he also explores some unique food destinations in Chicago. He visits the Bungalow Chef, a catering company that specializes in upscale Southern cuisine. He also stops by El Popo, a Mexican grocery store with a hidden restaurant in the back where he tries their famous barbacoa.

Of course, no trip to Chicago would be complete without a visit to one of its most famous landmarks, the Wrigley Field baseball stadium. Phil enjoys some classic ballpark food, like hot dogs and Cracker Jacks, while taking in the game and the lively atmosphere.

Throughout the episode, Phil also takes time to explore the cultural and historical aspects of the city of Chicago. He visits the Chicago History Museum, where he learns about the city's role in shaping American history. He also spends some time at the famous Second City comedy club, where he learns about the city's rich tradition of humor and satire.

As always, Phil's enthusiasm and genuine love of food and people make this episode an entertaining and enjoyable experience. Through his journey in Chicago, viewers can get a glimpse into the city's vibrant food and cultural scene, and gain an appreciation for everything this iconic American city has to offer.
