Ep 2. Maine

In the second episode of Somebody Feed Phil's fifth season, Phil Rosenthal visits the state of Maine, known for its delicious seafood, gorgeous landscapes, and lobster fishing community.

Here, Phil indulges in a delicious lobster toast that features the locally-sourced lobster he helped catch earlier.

The episode continues with Phil visiting The Palace Diner, one of the oldest diners in the country and a Maine icon. Here, he enjoys their famous blueberry pancakes and chats with the locals about all things Maine. Phil then heads to a brewery called Oxbow Blending and Bottling, where he samples some unique Belgian-style beers and learns about the brewing process.

Later, Phil heads out of town to visit a family-run farm called Wolf Pine Farm, where he meets with farmer Liza to learn about sustainable farming and helps collect fresh eggs from the chickens. Afterward, Phil and Liza whip up a farm-fresh meal together, featuring ingredients fresh from the farm.

Finally, Phil heads out to the countryside to meet with a family who runs a maple sugaring business. Here, he learns about the process of tapping trees for sap and turning it into maple syrup. Phil even helps collect some sap himself before enjoying a delicious syrup-filled breakfast with the family.
