Lena and Martin attend their first counseling session, hoping to better understand their dynamic as ex-spouses. However, things quickly become complicated as they begin to delve into their unresolved issues and past mistakes. Meanwhile, Lena struggles with whether or not to invite her ex-boyfriend, David, to their daughter's birthday party, and Martin attempts to reconnect with his estranged father.
