Ep 2. The Liar, the Bitch and the BoredRube

The episode "The Liar, the Bitch and the BoredRube" of Squidbillies season 4 opens with Rusty and Early heading to a trailer park to look for an elusive character. They are searching for the BoredRube, a man who has apparently stolen Early's stash of canned pears. While Rusty and Early scour the trailer park, Early hatches a plan to lure the BoredRube out of hiding by posing as a social worker who needs to talk to him about his welfare check.

Meanwhile, back in Dougal County, Granny is dealing with her own problems. After getting kicked out of her bridge game, she learns that one of her fellow bridge players, Miss Lila, has disparaged her behind her back. Granny is determined to get revenge, and enlists the help of Lil's ex-boyfriend, the Liar, who is still nursing a grudge against her. The Liar offers to help Granny get even with Miss Lila by letting her in on his secret plan to trick her into believing that her trailer is sitting on a valuable deposit of oil.

As Rusty and Early continue their search for the BoredRube, they meet a woman named Tammy who is also looking for him. Tammy claims to be his girlfriend, and says that she loves him despite his gruff exterior and criminal tendencies. Rusty and Early are highly skeptical of Tammy's claims, but she joins their search party anyway.

Eventually, Rusty, Early, and Tammy find the BoredRube in a rundown trailer, where they discover that he has in fact stolen Early's stash of canned pears. After some negotiations, they are able to retrieve the pears and make peace with the BoredRube.

Meanwhile, Granny puts the Liar's plan into action, and manages to convince Miss Lila that she is sitting on a goldmine of oil. However, the Liar's plan backfires when Miss Lila decides to sell her oil rights to the highest bidder, which turns out to be the local garbage dump.

In the end, Rusty, Early, and Tammy return home with their stolen canned pears, and Granny is left to lick her wounds after her revenge scheme falls flat. The episode ends with a shot of the BoredRube happily chowing down on a can of Early's pears, suggesting that all is right in the world of Squidbillies once again.
