In the season premiere of Stan Lee's Lucky Man season 3, entitled "Facing Your Demons," Harry Clayton (played by James Nesbitt) is struggling to come to terms with the consequences of his newfound power. As the lucky bracelet he wears continues to bring him good fortune, Harry realizes that his luck has come at a price.
The episode begins with Harry waking up in hospital, having narrowly survived a car crash. Though he comes away from the accident relatively unscathed, he can't shake the feeling that his luck is only going to get worse. His fears are soon confirmed when he's called to the scene of a mugging and discovers that the victim is his ex-partner, Anna (played by Kelly Wenham). Anna tells Harry that her attacker stole the lucky bracelet he's been wearing, and begs him to help her get it back.
Harry is torn between his loyalty to Anna and his fear of what losing the bracelet might mean. He knows that the power it gives him is too great to give up lightly, but he also knows that it's led him down a dangerous path in the past. As he sets out to track down the thief and recover the bracelet, Harry is forced to confront the darkest parts of himself and come to terms with what it means to be truly lucky.
Meanwhile, DS Suri Chohan (played by Amara Karan) is investigating a string of unusual crimes that all seem to be linked to the bracelet. She's convinced that there's more to Harry's luck than meets the eye, and is determined to find out the truth. As she unearths a web of corruption and betrayal that threatens to engulf the entire city, Suri realizes that her fate is intertwined with Harry's in ways that she could never have imagined.
With breathtaking action sequences, complex characters, and a thrilling storyline that explores the nature of luck and destiny, "Facing Your Demons" is a must-see episode of Stan Lee's Lucky Man.
