Ep 1. Strange Energies

In the season 2 premiere of Star Trek: Lower Decks, titled "Strange Energies," the crew of the USS Cerritos finds themselves in the midst of a mysterious energy anomaly that seems to be affecting the crew in strange ways.

Ensigns Boimler, Mariner, Tendi, and Rutherford are all assigned to investigate the anomaly and determine its cause. Along the way, they uncover a sinister plot by a group of rogue Starfleet officers to harness the energy for their own gain.

As the crew races to stop the officers and prevent the anomaly from destroying the ship, they must also confront their own personal demons and face the consequences of their actions.

Meanwhile, Captain Freeman and Commander Ransom grapple with the aftermath of a command decision gone wrong, and must find a way to protect their crew while navigating the political machinations of Starfleet command.

With pulse-pounding action, heartfelt character moments, and plenty of laughs, "Strange Energies" sets the stage for another thrilling season of Star Trek: Lower Decks.
