Star Wars: Droid Tales tells many of the familiar stories from the Star Wars saga from the point of view of R2D2 and C3PO. After the defeat of the Empire on the forest moon of Endor, the rebels listen to C3PO retell the events of how he met a young Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala on the planet Tatooine. C3PO also tells how a Sith grew in power and the Jedi discovered that the Republic was building a clone army. During the celebration and C3PO's storytelling, R2D2 is kidnapped, and C3PO and Admiral Ackbar leave to track him down. During their search they visit the city of Coruscant and C3PO recounts how the Empire turned on the Jedi and the Emperor and Darth Vader rose to power. Another episode includes C3PO telling how he fought in battles with the Rebel army, as well as how he met Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca. As they continue to search for R2D2 with the help of Chewbacca, C3PO retells how Luke became a Jedi, and the battles that led to the Rebels' victory on Endor.
