In Still Open All Hours season 3 episode 7, titled "Episode 7", viewers are once again taken to the charming town of Balby, where Granville (played by David Jason) has taken over the reins of the corner shop from his late uncle Arkwright. Granville's obsessive need to sell as much as possible is as strong as ever, but his methods have evolved with the times, and he's now using social media to try and bring in new customers.

The episode begins with Granville's latest scheme to drum up business. He's hired a young man named Craig (played by Ryan Sampson) to create a website for the shop, complete with an online ordering form. Granville is convinced that this is the way forward, and he's determined to make the shop a success in the digital age.

Meanwhile, Eric (played by Johnny Vegas) is having problems of his own. He's convinced that he's being spied on by the council, who he thinks are trying to catch him out for some unspecified infraction. Eric's paranoia is only fuelled when a new customer (played by Ami Metcalf) comes into the shop and starts asking him about the council's policies. Eric is convinced that she's a spy, and he spends the rest of the episode trying to evade her and avoid getting into trouble.

Elsewhere, Cyril (played by Kulvinder Ghir) is struggling with a personal issue. He's recently started dating a woman named Sandra (played by Lorraine Chase), but he's unsure how to tell her that he's a virgin. Cyril's inexperience is causing him a lot of anxiety, and he seeks advice from Granville and Eric, who are both hilariously unhelpful.

Throughout the episode, there are plenty of classic moments that fans of the show will recognise. Granville is still up to his old tricks, using his charm and cunning to sell as much as possible. He's also still nursing a crush on Mavis (played by Maggie Ollerenshaw), who is as oblivious as ever to his advances. Meanwhile, Nurse Gladys (played by Lynda Baron) is still a stalwart of the community, dispensing wisdom and advice to anyone who needs it.

As always, the show is full of the gentle humour and warmth that made the original series so popular. The characters are all loveable in their own way, and the actors bring them to life with great skill. David Jason is particularly impressive as Granville, injecting the character with just the right amount of charm and hustle. Johnny Vegas is also a standout, bringing a manic energy to the role of Eric.

Overall, Still Open All Hours season 3 episode 7 is a delightful episode that will delight fans of the show. It's a testament to the enduring appeal of the characters and the world they inhabit, and it's a joy to see them back on screen once again. Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or a newcomer to the world of Balby, this episode is sure to put a smile on your face.
