Ep 3. Episode 3

In episode 3 of Story of Yanxi Palace, Wei Yingluo finds herself in the middle of a power struggle among the concubines in the palace. She is tasked with serving tea to the Empress and the other consorts, but she mistakenly pours it in the wrong cup, causing chaos among the women.

Meanwhile, in the male quarters, Emperor Qianlong becomes suspicious of his brother, Yinsi, and orders his officials to investigate him. Yinsi is also in hot water with the Empress for not showing enough respect to her.

Wei Yingluo continues to navigate the political intrigue, befriending two concubines, Noble Consort Gao and Consort Xian. However, she also catches the eye of the vicious Consort Chun, who takes pleasure in tormenting Wei Yingluo.

As tensions rise, some of the concubines begin to plot against each other to gain the favor of the Emperor. Wei Yingluo finds herself caught in the middle of the scheming as she tries to protect herself and her friends.

In a surprising turn of events, Wei Yingluo discovers a secret about Noble Consort Gao that could change everything. Meanwhile, Empress Fucha becomes suspicious of Wei Yingluo's motives and orders her to report on the activities of the other concubines.

The episode ends with Wei Yingluo faced with a difficult decision: betray her new friends and report back to the Empress or risk her own safety by keeping their secrets.
