The twist is that the ancient secrets they discover are more along the lines of "ancient pranks" as the team finds themselves pranked at every turn. The sketch has hilarious moments, and the actors perfectly capture the ridiculousness of the situation.

Up next is a parody of those field reporting news shows. In "Live in the Field," the reporter and camera operator embarked on an adventure to report on a story, but quickly found themselves facing obstacles that make their job much more difficult. These range from unforeseen roadblocks to encounters with wild animals, all while trying to maintain their professionalism on camera with varying levels of success. The sketch is funny and has a great twist in the end that I won't give away here.

In "Dux and Grumps," we get a glimpse into the lives of two elderly men who are fed up with the changing world around them. They rant about everything, from the "youth these days" to how the world has changed since their youth. The sketch is hilarious and relatable, as we all have someone in our lives who just can't seem to cope with change.

Next up is "Lego People at Work." The sketch is a parody of those LEGO videos for kids, and it is brilliantly funny. It shows what life would be like if real people had to work as LEGO people, with a boss who hands out orders and expects everyone to follow instructions to a T, even if they don't make sense. The LEGO character voices and movements are spot on, and the sketch is a great addition to the show.

The final skit is called "Essay Writing." It's about a young girl who is assigned to write an essay on her favorite book. However, she hasn't read the book, so she enlists the help of her dad to write the essay for her. Things quickly spiral out of control, and the essay ends up being a series of increasingly ridiculous conspiracy theories about the book. The sketch is hilarious, and the humor only gets better as it goes on.

Overall, Studio C season 10 episode 1 is a great start to the season. It has plenty of laughs, memorable characters, and great humor.
