Takayuki Utsumi (Shigeyuki Totsugi) is a 42-year-old salesman. He has been working all night long preparing a sales proposal, and it is already morning. He decides not to go home and go make rounds, but grabs breakfast first. On his way he comes across the Tsubameyu Bath, a "tangible cultural property designated by the Japanese government." He decides to treat himself for a little bath time.
