The Spider is also aware of Superman's involvement, so he's prepared to put up a fight.
The episode begins with The Spider's men breaking into a safe, stealing the plans for the train's route. The Spider examines the plans while criticizing Superman's involvement in the situation. He then devises a plan to not only steal the gold but to also frame Superman for the heist.
As the train begins its journey, The Spider and his gang start their attack, hijacking the train and holding the passengers at gunpoint. One passenger, Lois Lane, manages to escape and call for Superman's help. She reports that The Spider's men have started removing the gold from the train, and it's up to Superman to stop them.
Superman arrives at the train and begins fighting The Spider's men, taking them out one by one. Meanwhile, The Spider has landed a small plane on the train, using it to transport the stolen gold. Superman destroys the plane, causing The Spider to fall out of the sky, where he's caught by Superman mid-fall.
