Tales of Tatonka Season 1 Episode 31 A Tree for Wahi

The renegade wolves invade the territory of Wicasa searching for big game to hunt. The avalanches are quite numerous during this period. So numerous that Wahi's tree is buried. Wahi wants to set up his nest near the den of the wolf-cubs to take advantage of their protection. Wicasa asks the wolf-cubs to protect themselves against the avalanche by waiting for the pack to hunt the renegades. If they are sheltered from the avalanches, they will eventually come face to face with the renegades. Fortunately, Wahi involuntarily causes an avalanche that sends the renegades fleeing and saves the wolf-cubs. Tatonka concludes that even the most humble of creatures has a role to play in nature.
