The Best of Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and offshoot of The Bullwinkle Show, is an animated program which aired in the U.S. in 1959. It featured Mr. Peabody, a highly intelligent dog, and his son, Sherman. In each episode the pair would enter Mr. Peabody's WABAC machine to visit various era in time. Many episodes would feature a perilous situation for Sherman or Mr. Peabody to escape from in order to stabilize the timeline and return them back home.
