The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! is a children's animated series that features the whimsical adventures of two young children, Nick and Sally, as they explore the wonders of the natural world with the help of their feline friend, The Cat in the Hat.

In season 2 episode 12, titled "Rumbly Tumbly/Planet Name Game," Nick and Sally embark on two exciting escapades that take them on journeys of discovery and exploration.

In the first half of the episode, "Rumbly Tumbly," the trio discovers that their stomachs are rumbling and deduces that they must be hungry. To satisfy their hunger, The Cat in the Hat takes Nick and Sally on a gastronomic adventure to learn more about how our bodies use food for fuel and energy.

As they explore the various foods and nutrients needed to keep our bodies healthy and strong, the trio encounters a host of fascinating creatures, including a butterfly that thrives on nectar, a bird that eats seeds, and a caterpillar that devours leaves.

The Cat in the Hat also introduces Nick and Sally to the concept of digestion and how our bodies break down food to extract the energy and nutrients they need. With the help of the digestive system song, the trio learns about the different organs involved in the digestive process and how they work together to transform food into energy.

In the second half of the episode, "Planet Name Game," Nick and Sally are fascinated by the idea of naming planets, and The Cat in the Hat takes them on a cosmic adventure to discover how planets get their names.

As they journey through space, the trio encounters a variety of celestial bodies, including meteors, asteroids and comets, and learns about the fascinating history behind some of our most famous planets.

The Cat in the Hat also introduces Nick and Sally to the planets of our solar system and shares fun facts about each one. They learn that Mercury is the smallest planet, Venus is the hottest, Earth is the only known planet with water, Mars has the tallest volcano, Jupiter is the largest planet, Saturn has the most beautiful rings, Uranus is called the "ice giant," and Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun.

Throughout their adventure, Nick and Sally play the "Planet Name Game," a playful exercise that teaches them about the different naming conventions used by scientists to identify planets and other celestial bodies.

In the end, Nick and Sally come away with a better appreciation for the complexities of the universe and the many wonders that lie beyond our planet. Through their adventures with The Cat in the Hat, they learn to embrace curiosity, imagination, and the joy of discovery.
