Ep 4. Elongated Journey Into Night

Barry Allen, also known as the Flash, continues his battle against evil metahumans in episode four of season four, entitled “Elongated Journey Into Night.” This installment follows Barry as he and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to stop the latest threat to Central City: a metahuman with the ability to stretch and contort his body in ways that defy natural human limits.

Meanwhile, he must also grapple with the fact that his decision to leave Wally West as the city’s main protector has created some tension between the two speedsters.

Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to a mix of intense action scenes and emotional character development. As always, the Flash’s lightning-fast speed and quick thinking are put to the test as he faces off against the Stretch Body and tries to prevent him from carrying out a deadly plan that would have disastrous consequences for Central City.

“Elongated Journey Into Night” also sets the stage for further exploration of some key plot points. We see Cisco Ramon continuing to struggle with his newfound powers, and we get a further glimpse into the mystery surrounding the Thinker, the primary antagonist of season four.
