Ep 3. Solicitation

Alice, a new intern at Erica's office, approaches Erica with a request to set up a meeting with one of her clients. However, Erica soon realizes that Alice is actually a prostitute using the internship as a cover for solicitation. While Erica initially tries to protect Alice from the dangers of the sex industry, Alice is determined to pursue her chosen profession and even manages to secure a high-paying client. Meanwhile, Bria finds herself in hot water when she fails to deliver on a promise to date a politician who had helped her secure a new identity. As a result, she is left vulnerable to the political power plays of those around her, and must work to protect herself and her family from the consequences of her actions. Throughout the episode, the complex and often dangerous world of sex work is explored in depth, challenging our assumptions and forcing us to confront some uncomfortable truths about power, exploitation, and the many forms of coercion that can shape our lives.
