Ep 7. Story Seven

The Guest Book is a comedy television series that follows the lives of various vacationers as they spend time at a rustic cabin resort called Froggy Cottage. Each episode features a new set of guests along with the quirky caretaker of the resort, Vivian (played by the talented actress, Carly Jibson).

In season 1, episode 7, titled "Story Seven," we see two widowers, Don (played by Matt Walsh) and Ralph (played by Gary Anthony Williams), who have been best friends for years, embark on a much-needed vacation to Froggy Cottage.

As Vivian greets the two friends, they reveal that they've come to the resort to scatter the ashes of their deceased wives who were also best friends. Vivian tries to comfort the men as they reminisce about their wives and the fond memories they shared. But things take an unexpected turn when they discover their cabin is haunted by the ghost of a woman who was once romantically involved with Don.

The ghost, named Ella (played by Lauren Lapkus), finds herself drawn to Don and tries to rekindle their relationship, much to the chagrin of Ralph. As the friends try to navigate the awkward and supernatural situation, they also find themselves dealing with their own grief and the realization that they need each other now more than ever.

Meanwhile, Vivian has her own drama as she tries to deal with her lazy and unhelpful employee, Eddie (played by Charlie Robinson), who spends most of his time fishing and avoiding work.

As the episode progresses, the friends and Vivian all learn important lessons about love, friendship, and the importance of facing one's fears. "Story Seven" is a heartwarming and hilarious episode that showcases the talent of the series' cast and the unique storytelling format of The Guest Book.
