Frankie, Miles, and Louie Hathaway are excited to have new living friends, but their excitement quickly fades when they discover that Michelle's daughters, Taylor and Meadow, can see and communicate with them. At first, Michelle thinks her daughters are making up imaginary friends until she starts experiencing strange occurrences in the house.

The plan works at first, but things quickly get out of hand once Louie loses control of the toys and they start attacking Taylor and Meadow. Michelle must come to the rescue and help her daughters fend off the possessed toys.

In the end, Michelle and the Hathaways come to a truce and agree to try and make living with ghosts work for everyone.
