Ep 2. Enrollment, Part 2

Enrollment, Part 2, is the second episode of The Irregular at Magic High School's first season. In this episode, viewers are transported back to First High School, where Tatsuya and Miyuki enroll as new students. They undergo a series of tests to determine their placement within the school's magic program.

The episode opens with Tatsuya and Miyuki arriving at First High School. The two siblings are approached by a group of upperclassmen who try to bully them. However, Tatsuya quickly ends the confrontation with his superior magical abilities.

The next scene shows Tatsuya and Miyuki taking their written entrance exams. Tatsuya aces the practical portion of the exam, but performs poorly on the written section. Miyuki, on the other hand, scores perfectly on both portions of the exam.

After the exams, students are sorted into their respective course levels. Tatsuya is placed in Course 2, while Miyuki is placed in Course 1, the highest level. Tatsuya is disappointed in his placement and feels inferior to his sister.

In the following scene, Tatsuya and Miyuki attend the welcoming ceremony for new students. Here, they learn about First High School's unique system of magic and the importance placed on its implementation in daily life.

The episode continues with Tatsuya attending his first magic lesson. His instructor, Mr. Watanabe, belittles him for being placed in Course 2. However, Tatsuya surprises him by completing the lesson's difficult task with ease. Tatsuya's classmates are astounded by his abilities and begin to fear him.

Miyuki, meanwhile, attends her first magic lesson in Course 1. Her instructor, Ms. Ono, is impressed by her skills and appoints her class representative. Miyuki is thrilled by the honor and begins to make friends with her classmates.

The final scene of the episode shows Tatsuya and Miyuki attending an introductory magic presentation. They learn about the various technical devices utilized by magicians, known as CADs. The presentation is interrupted by an unexpected attack from a rogue magician.

Overall, Enrollment, Part 2, serves as an introduction to the world of magic within The Irregular at Magic High School. Viewers are given a glimpse into the unique system of magic utilized in the show and introduced to the series' main characters.
