After serving 15 years in prison for drug dealing, Tray (played by Tracy Morgan) is released and returns to his old neighborhood in Brooklyn. However, upon his return, he finds that everything has changed. In season 1 episode 7, titled "Lemon Drops," Tray discovers that his ex-girlfriend Shay (played by Tiffany Haddish) is getting married to another man. Meanwhile, his cousin Bobby (played by Allen Maldonado) convinces Tray to help him sell "lemon drops," a drug confection that Tray is not familiar with.

Throughout the episode, Tray struggles to come to terms with his feelings for Shay and his past mistakes. He confronts Shay about her upcoming nuptials, causing tension between them. Meanwhile, Tracy and Bobby's lemon drop operation gets out of hand as they become increasingly popular among the neighborhood residents. The two cousins end up making a huge sale to a group of middle-aged women, but things turn sour when the women become sick from the drugs.

Additionally, Tray tries to reconnect with his kids, who are being raised by Shay and her new fiancé. Tray's son, Amira (played by Cedric the Entertainer), is not happy to see his father and tries to push him away. Tray also meets his daughter for the first time, who is now a teenager and completely unfamiliar to him.

As the episode winds down, Tray tries to make amends with Shay and her fiancé by offering to cook them dinner. However, things quickly go awry when one of the guests starts to choke on a chicken bone. In a hilarious scene, Tray attempts to perform the Heimlich maneuver, but inadvertently ends up tearing the guest's shirt open. The guest turns out to be a doctor, who reassures everyone that the man is fine, but Shay's fiancé's mother takes offense at the situation and demands that Tray leave.

In the end, Tray is left to ponder his future and how he can make amends for his past mistakes. "Lemon Drops" is a touching and humorous episode that shows the complexities of Tray's situation as he tries to reintegrate into society after spending so much time behind bars. Once again, Tracy Morgan's performance is outstanding, and he brings a great deal of humor and heart to the role of Tray. Tiffany Haddish is also excellent, showing the conflicted emotions that Shay is struggling with as she prepares to start a new chapter in her life. Overall, "Lemon Drops" is a must-watch episode of The Last O.G.
