The Masked Singer season 2 episode 8, titled "Mask and You Shall Receive," begins with the return of the six remaining contestants: the Leopard, the Flamingo, the Flower, the Fox, the Rottweiler, and the Thingamajig. After a recap of last week's performances and clues, the show starts with a group performance of "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang.

Then, it's time for the first round of individual performances. The Leopard is up first and sings "We Are Young" by Fun. The panelists, including Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and guest judge Joel McHale, are split on whether or not the Leopard's performance was strong enough to keep them in the competition.

Next is the Flamingo, who sings "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman. The judges are impressed with the Flamingo's performance and praise her ability to hit high notes and get the audience on their feet.

The Flower is the third performer and sings "Alone" by Heart. The judges are blown away by the Flower's vocals and note that her performance is one of the best of the night.

The Fox is fourth and sings "Every Little Step" by Bobby Brown. The judges are excited by the Fox's performance and note that he is one of the best dancers on the show.

The Rottweiler is fifth and sings "Someone You Loved" by Lewis Capaldi. The judges are impressed with the Rottweiler's emotional performance and note that he has a great ability to connect with the audience.

Finally, the Thingamajig performs "Winter Wonderland" by Bing Crosby. The judges are impressed with the Thingamajig's unique voice and note that he is traditionally one of the strongest performers on the show.

After the individual performances, it's time for the second round of performances. The remaining contestants are split into two groups: the Fox and the Flower, and the Rottweiler, the Thingamajig, and the Leopard. Each group performs a song together to try and win over the judges.

The first group, the Fox and the Flower, sing "Hey Look Ma, I Made It" by Panic! At The Disco. The judges are wowed by their performance and note that the two contestants have great chemistry on stage.

The second group, the Rottweiler, the Thingamajig, and the Leopard, perform "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. The judges note that while the performance was high energy and fun, some of the contestants struggled to hit the high notes.

After the group performances, it's time for the elimination. The contestant with the lowest number of votes is revealed and is unmasked. The revealed contestant is shocked and disappointed but thanks the judges and audience for the opportunity to perform.

Overall, The Masked Singer season 2 episode 8 is filled with great individual and group performances, suspense, and surprises. The panelists and audience alike are left guessing and anxiously awaiting the next episode.
